Funeral service for Bruce B. Hartsfield, Sr, 89, who passed away Jan. 12, 2018, will be held Friday at 12:30 pm at the Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Ave. Holly Hill with Roger Tiffany officiating. Friends wishing to call and pay their respects may do so Thursday from 4 until 6 pm or Friday from 10 am until the time of the service. Mr. Hartsfield was born in Pensacola, FL and moved to this area in 1982 from Land O lakes, FL. He was an Army veteran of World War II. After returning from the war, Bruce became a brick layer and later a contractor. He loved football, was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles and coloring. Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years, Gloria; 2 sons, Christopher and his wife Heidi and Bruce Jr.; 3 daughters, Paula Paterson and her husband Pat, Carol Ann Franklin and her husband Bill and Tina Rodriguez and her husband Danny; 6 granddaughters, Izabella Hartsfield, Sara Frederickson (Joseph), Laura Sadowski (Ethan), Alexa Hartsfield, Haley Hartsfield and Averi Hartsfield; 5 great grandchildren, Harold, Charles, Ellen, William and Evie; many nieces and nephews.
