Obituary for Blanche Mildred "Millie" Williams

Blanche Mildred "Millie" Williams
The time has come to grieve the passing of our Mother Millie Williams born June 13, 1926 - died November 8, 2017. Millie came into this world Daughter of John T. & Edith Williams and grew up in the tiny West Kentucky town of Frenchburg. Despite growing up in the midst of the great depression Millie her three Sisters & Brother enjoyed a happy childhood. Millie was selected May Queen in her Junior High School year. After graduating High School and World War II coming to an end it was time for Millie to leave the unique qualities of small town life and set off for college to study Music at the conservative Anderson Christian College in Indiana. Upon leaving home, plans that were thought to be her future changed and school girl romances that her parents assumed would result in settling down in Frenchburg, took a dramatic turn! Millie met and eventually ran off with a big band tenor sax player. She married Bill Eisele (the father of her children) and things would never be the same. After years of trying to make the marriage work they finally divorced. In an attempt to ensure that both her children would be under her care, Millie moved to Daytona Beach and started her life over in 1964. Moving to an area where she knew no one, she made a home for herself & her children via hard work and determination. She took on two full time jobs with Embry Riddle & Julian’s Restaurant for many years to support her family through their school age years. While working at Julian’s around 1971 she met and then married Bob Franta. At this time, Millie started her last career as Real Estate/Landlord Entrepreneur. This work gave Millie occasion to do what she enjoyed most helping people in need. My Mother never met a stranger and anyone that had the pleasure of meeting her was positively impacted. She worked at that endeavor until finally she was unable to continue. Millie was predeceased by Husband Bob Franta, Parents John T. & Edith Williams, youngest Sister Hannah Wells. She is survived by her Daughter Rayne Lewis-Hart (Husband Paul), Son Gregg Eisele (Wife Susie), Granddaughter Melody Cartwright (Husband Fred) Grandson Daniel Lewis, Grandaughter Nicole Blondin (Husband Mike), Grandson Justin Hart, Great Grandchildren Cate, Emma, Hunter & James, the Franta children Janet, Bob, Debbie & Laura, Siblings Louise Botts, Helen Swim, & Rodney Williams (Wife Eva) & countless nieces, nephews & cousins. Please join us in memorializing this AMAZING life at Woodward’s Funeral Home on November 18, 2017 at 1:30 p.m.
