Nathan Brown, High Springs, Florida, went home to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday morning November 5 at the age of 91. A World War II Nave veteran, he fought in the Pacific theater, earning several medals for battle.
Nathan entered full-time Christian ministry in 1972, serving, serving churches in Florida, South Carolina and Indiana. He is survived by his sons David Brown (Jennifer), High Springs, FL and Mark Brown (Barbara), Bertha, MN, two brothers, Frank Brown (Alice) and Everett Brown (Rosie), one sister, Vivian Workman (Lowell), five grandchildren, Kris Brown, Tamara Fuller, Melissa Mangel, Ginger Brown and Shelli Garrison, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois, his brothers Homes Brown, Charles Brown, Clyde Brown, and two sisters, Virginia Steele and Emma Lou Bowling
A "Homegoing Celebration" service will be held Friday, November 10, 11:00 AM at Woodward Funeral Home, with visitation from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM
