Obituary for Catherine Gilbert

Catherine Cone Gilbert, 86, passed away May 11, 2017. She was born April 13, 1931 in Daytona Beach FL. She graduated High School from the original Mainland High School on Bay Street in 1950. She retired from the Volusia County Sherriff Department as a School Crossing Guard after 20 years, and was an Avon Representative and sold Avon for over 34 years. She is survived by three children Cathy Townsend King (Bud) Ft. Pierce, Robert F Gilbert (Patty Davis) Port Orange and Melissa Gilbert South Daytona. Two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One brother Ernest J Cone of Deleon Springs.
A Celebration of Life will be held June 3, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the home of Ernest Cone
6895 Lake Winona Road DeLeon Springs FL. Condolences may be shared for the family at www.dalewoodwardfuneralhomes.com.
