A memorial celebration for Fay C. Izzarelli, 84, of Holly Hill, who passed away May 28, 2016, will be held Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Ave. Holly Hill with Brian Faircloth officiating. A native of Brockton, MA, Mrs. Izzarelli moved to this area in 1976 from Norwich, CT. After moving to Florida, Mrs. Izzarelli became a school crossing guard for the Volusia County Sheriff’s Department and retired in the late 1990’s. Fay loved shopping –her retail therapy. She had a passion for traveling and especially cherished her time with family. In lieu of other remembrances the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Fay was predeceased by her husband, William; a son, Eddie Dupee and a sister, Edna Sandillo. Survivors include 2 daughters, Joyce Bogardus (Kurt) and Jill Izzarelli, both of Holly Hill; 2 sons, John Izzarelli and Jack Izzarelli (Christine) both of Holly Hill; 2 God-daughters, Melbra Sandillo, GA and LouAnn Bero, LA; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren who were blessed to grow up with Fay –John Thompson, Edgewater, FL, and Kerri Thompson, Lambert and Conner Everson, Holly Hill; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; her step children, step grandchildren and nephews; the family wishes to express special thanks to Randy Morrisey who helped care for Fay in her last years and Peter Hansen(Vitas Hospice Nurse) who provided wonderful care.
