Obituary for Ronald "Ronnie" Shirah

Ronald “Ronnie” Shirah

Ronald Edward Shirah, 65, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2018. He was born in Daytona Beach on November 2, 1952, and predeceased by his parents Joseph Kermit (J.K.) & Luberna (Lu) Shirah.
Known to friends and family as Ronnie, he was a graduate of Columbia Military Academy in Columbia, TN. Starting his career within JK Shirah & Sons, Inc., he went on to successfully run his own trucking business for over 25 years. He semi-retired in August 2017 after 3 years of driving for Upstaging, Inc., a production company known for major concerts and events across North America. Never one to rest, he most recently was driving for the LPGA Symetra Tour, based out of Daytona Beach. 
He is survived by his son Ryan of Scottsdale, AZ; brothers Stan and Steve of Ormond Beach; nephews Todd and Kyle of Ormond Beach; nieces Tracy and Kemper of Ormond Beach; grand-niece Karter; grand-nephews Jared and Caleb, of Ormond Beach; his miniature pinscher Lady and his numerous friends he made throughout his life journey. 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on October 13th at 10:00 am at the Holly Hill Church of Christ: 1725 Ridgewood Avenue, Holly Hill, Florida 32117, followed by a reception and light lunch in the church annex. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to:
