A Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth (Betty) Dale, 87, of Daytona Beach, FL, who passed away on September 29, 2018, will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at The Basilica of St. Paul, 317 Mullally St, Daytona Beach, FL 32114, at 10:30am with Father Edwin officiating. Betty was born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 7, 1931 to the late Christopher and Sarah Ann Quigley. Betty loved all children and they were enamored with her warmth and kindness. She enjoyed involvement with the Catholic Church and prayed to St. Jude and the Blessed Mother. She was always up to date on current events and loved to watch the Celtics football club. Her Scottish accent was enjoyed by all she spoke with and will be deeply missed. You could find her shopping on any given day and meeting new people while she did. She was pre- deceased by daughter, Patricia Jenkins and 13 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, William Dale, her daughters, Lynn Rawson (Doug), of Manchester Center, VT, Kelly Clowes (Richard)of Plantation, FL, her son, Bill Dale (Ann) of Washingtonville, NY, grandsons, Blake Staples (Ashley)of Mary Esther, FL, and Jackson and Evan Rawson of Manchester Center, VT, and granddaughter, Heather Lamberto, South Florida along with 3 great- grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
