Condolence: Hoke was in my Spanish class. He helped make the class fun with his clever sense of humor and interesting conversation. I enjoyed hearing him talk about Daytona Beach when he was growing up and hearing about his experiences traveling, raising poodles, and his boats. He will be missed.

Condolence: I was sorry to read of Hoke’s passing in this morning’’s paper. I enjoyed sailing with Hoke on many occasions at the SDMYC, and meeting a few of his poodles. The world was made a better place by Hoke, he’ll be missed by those who’s lives he touched. Please accept my deepest condolences.
