Graveside service for Emma Mae Jones, 90, Ormond Beach who passed away January 14, 2018 will be held Saturday January 20, 2018 at Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach at 10:00 am with Wiley Lowe officiating. Friends wishing to call and pay their respects may do so Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Ave, Holly Hill. Mrs. Jones was born in Holly Hill, moved to Knoxville at a young age and then returned to this area at the age of 18. She was a crossing patrol guard for the Ormond Beach Police Department before her retirement and a member of Riverbend Community Church. Other memberships included the American Legion Auxiliary #361, VWF Auxiliary Post 1590, Loyal Order of Moose, Eagles and Elks Lodges. Mrs. Jones was predeceased by her husband Robert Lee and a daughter, Karen Lee Tomlinson. Survivors include a daughter, Gail Giroux; a son, Robert Jones; a sister, Doris Wood, five grandchildren, Richard Beckman, Jennifer Walker, Jolene Jones, Robin Williamson and Tammy Hurst; and ten great grandchildren. In lieu of other remembrances the family requests donations to a Hospice of your choice.
