Roett, Diana “Stella”
A Mass of Christian Burial for Diana “Stella” Roett, 94, of Daytona Beach, FL, who passed away on April 15, 2017, will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at The Basilica of St. Paul, 317 Mullally St, Daytona Beach, FL 32114, at 11:00am. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral at Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Avenue, Holly Hill, the same day beginning at 9:00am until 10:30am. Mrs. Roett was born in Trinidad on September 27, 1922 to Louis and Josephine (Dolabaille) Belix. She made her way to this area in 1977 from Barbados. She was proud of her Trinidadian descent. A true homemaker, she would always look after her children and loved spending time together as a family. She spent her spare time crocheting. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Byron Roett. Survivors include her son, Derek Roett and his wife Wandy, her daughters, Charmaine Darbasie and her husband Don, Tressa Ramdeen, and Rhonda Doherty and her husband Don, a special daughter Denise, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
